Unfortunately I couldn't make the much anticipated talk for the Association of Illustrators visit this year due to ill health which was pretty gutting considering I look forward to their visits and consider the advice given as something crucial to establishing myself as a creative practitioner starting out in the industry.
To ensure my non attendance didn't mean I missed out on all the good stuff, I made sure to catch up with one of my peers and asked to borrow their notes. Feeling a part of a community on this course is really helping me through a difficult time personally. Knowing I can contact any of my lovely peers and have them happy to help has been so rewarding and I just want to buy everyone lots of chocolate to say thank you for their support. It means so much!
